The British Columbia Ambulance Service (BCAS, or oftenly-called BCEHS) is the only EMS provider for this province since more than 20 years. BCAS provide Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support with ground resources while Critical Care is given by the medical air ambulances managed by BCAS as well. BCAS is the biggest EMS services regarding his territory lenght in Canada and the biggest provincially-managed services in the country.
