The Prince Edward Island ambulance sole provider is MEDAVIE, like the neighbour province New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. They have been contracted until 2023, where the EMS services would be revised.
Newfoundland and Labrador
The Newfoundland and Labrador ambulance system is a lot similar to some other provinces by having hospital-based EMS, private providers and non-profit organizations operating the services. Newfoundland have near 50 different EMS providers in their province !
